Olufemi Ajayi Breast and Cervical Cancer Foundation is a Nigerian-based non-government organisation (NGO) that was founded 1st february 2017 and officially registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria with Registration Number CAC/IT/No 105229 in the same year. Olufemi Ajayi Breasts and Cervical Cancer Foundation is a bonafide member of World Cancer Foundation which is aimed raising
awareness via advocacy programs, promoting early detection of breast and cervical cancer via screening, conduct research on cancer and follow up cancer patients for better quality of life.

OUR OBJECTIVES

Empower the victim of breast and cervical cancer with a greater quality of life.

To provide enlightenment about breast and cervical cancer, the risk factors, its effects, prevention and treatment through awareness campaign, media presentation, organizing of seminars and conferences.

To conduct researches on the prevalence of breast and cervical cancer, screening, treatment and prevention.

To create an empowerment centres that will help in spreading the knowledge and therefore curb the menace of breast and cervical cancer in all the state of federation and in other developing countries.

To organize health talks, conferences, seminars and concerts starting from secondary schools, communities, villages, towns, market places, churches, mosques, media houses, town in order to sensitize people and eventually prevent breast and cervical cancer.

To receive contributions, donations and financial support from individuals, organizations, business companies, foundations, missions, churches, mosques, business companies, NGOs government and other international institutions on behalf of individuals not capable of paying for their treatments and getting it to them.

To organize programmes, advertisements on radio, TV, jingles and other means of publicity like posters, pamphlets, billboards etc.

To conduct research and create awareness on other cancers aside breast and cervical cancer to reduce an epidemic scourge of cancer.

To liaise/affiliate with other NGOs, government agencies, media houses and individuals with compulsory in order to create awareness on breast and cervical cancers.

About the Founder
Dr. Emmanuel Ajayi is a distinguished epidemiologist, public health physician, and the visionary CEO and Founder of the Olufemi Ajayi Breast and Cervical Cancer Foundation (OABCCF), a Non- Governmental Organization dedicated to raising awareness and promoting early detection of breast and cervical cancer in Nigeria. Dr Ajayi has led the foundation in screening over 5000 women, reaching individuals in both urban and rural communities with essential health services and life-saving information. The foundation’s impactful outreach aims to reduce cancer-related mortality by empowering women to recognize early signs and seek timely medical interventions.
Under Dr. Ajayi’s leadership, the Olufemi Ajayi Breast and Cervical Cancer Foundation has expanded its operations to include “IRE’S HEALTHCARE”, a subsidiary focused on providing accessible healthcare solutions that align with the foundation’s mission. IRE’S HEALTHCARE offers additional support and medical services, enhancing the foundation’s ability to deliver comprehensive care to underserved communities.
Driven by a mission to combat the rising incidence of cervical cancer, Dr. Ajayi has also cemented a significant partnership with a leading biomedical company. This collaboration is a milestone in advancing the early diagnosis of cervical cancer in Nigeria, facilitating access to cutting-edge screening technologies that enhance early detection and improve outcomes for countless women.
Through dedication, strategic partnership, and a compassionate approach to public health, Dr Ajayi continues to be a transformative force in Nigeria’s healthcare landscape. His work not only saves lives but also fosters a greater awareness of women’s health, setting a strong foundation for a healthier future.
Dr Ajayi obtained a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from the University of Jos, Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria, then proceeded to Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, where he earned a Master of Public Health (MPH), Epidemiology and also obtained Master of Business Administration (Finance and Investment) from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, Nigeria.
